Honor Roll:
Georgetown has some environmental reporting (although not much), but has yet to take part in the ACUPCC’s challenge for reporting/transparency. Georgetown has several buildings somewhere in the LEED process and requires LEED Silver for all new construction. Georgetown, with a recycling rate of 37%, is above average in terms of waste diversion and the school utilizes a large amount of solar energy. Georgetown has some green food options on campus.

Held After Class:
Georgetown could certainly benefit from some additional reporting. Simply put, Georgetown had some of the worst reporting we came across and this is unacceptable. Georgetown is also lagging a bit in green food options and alternative fuel vehicles. These both have substantial impacts and improvements would be appreciated.

Green Grade:
Georgetown does enough in a few key areas to be considered a light green, but some more aggressive progress would be appreciated as well.
